VIDEO: Basketball Great Shaquille O'Neal Announces Retirement

Shaquille O’Neal’s reign over the basketball court is coming to an end.
“We did it...19 years, baby. I want to thank you very much,” Shaq said in a video posted on his official Twitter account Wednesday, announcing his retirement.
“That’s why I’m telling you first, I’m about to retire. Love you...talk to you soon.”
In March 2010, the 39-year-old became the oldest active player in the NBA and at 7’1”, 325 lbs. he dominated the scoreboards with points and rebounds.
