She's mad at hell and not gonna take it anymore.

A week after newly-engaged Kim Kardashian was rocked by an InTouch report placing her in a six-month, text message affair with NFL scrub Bret Lockett, the reality TV superstar blasted the third-stringer as a fame-seeking liar on Tuesday's Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Kardashian called New England Patriots safety "some guy that I've never ever hears of met, texted, spoken to, anything ... I don't even know who this person is.

"I knew crazy stories were gonna come out," the socialite said. "It's so crazy to me that any random person can contact a tabloid and get out a story."

An irked Kim said, "These kind of people should really be ashamed of themselves for trying to get publicity for people they don't know."

She added that Lockett seemed intent on promoting "an album coming out" and offered him a stern piece of advice: "Don't use other people for attention."

Kardashian, 30, told Leno, she might seek legal actions against Lockett, 24, and InTouch, adding she's letting her "attorneys take over" regarding the claims.

She said she's "not gonna let anyone get away with making up ridiculous lies."

So just how did her fiancée, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, react to the news?

"It was a good test of our relationship," she said, noting the wiry rebounder never questioned how true she was to him.

She added Humphries, 26, is no fan of Lockett's: "After this guy’s mentioning his name, a man is gonna get upset and want to make sure some guy is spreading false rumors."

As we previously reported, in the controversial InTouch story, the little known NFL defender is quoted as saying Kim "pursued" him, adding that he doesn't "like to comment on my personal life, but Kim is a great girl."

The article also included a series of text messages the magazine says Kim sent to Lockett, in which she asks him to "make me your girlfriend" and to send her "a SEXY picture."

The report also claimed Lockett and Kardashian engaged in steamy phone sex last December, when she was already seeing Humphries.

Humphries popped the question to the beautiful E! starlet on May 18, with a spread of rose petals around her room arranged to read, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

She told Leno on Tuesday they'll likely get married sometime this summer.
