Putting her troubles behind her, Catherine Zeta-Jones appeared as if she didn't have a care in the world when she left her New York City home on Tuesday.

Wearing a cowboy hat, a bohemenian shirt and pulling her suitcase behind her, the Welsh actress looked like was off to the Wild West as she smiled to her assistant who helped her into a waiting car.

It's been a difficult time for Zeta-Jones, who's stood devotedly by husband Michael Douglas' side during his battle with throat cancer since he was diagnosed last year.

Then in April, the Chicago star revealed her own struggle with manic depression that landed her Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut for five days for treatment.

Thankfully,  the troubled 41-year-old actress is now on the mend and back to work, and she couldn't be happier about it!

Zeta-Jones is currently filming two big budget movies, Rock of Ages with Russell Brand, Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin, and Lay The Favorite with Vince Vaughn and Bruce Willis.

The talented dancer and singer with also appear at the Tony Awards on June 12 as a presenter.
