Eva Longoria is wondering out loud how she somehow got involved in her former Desperate Housewives co-star Nicollette Sheridan's lawsuit against series creator Marc Cherry.
George Lopez got the usually tight-lipped Longoria to open up about the explosive lawsuit between Sheridan and Cherry on Monday's Lopez Tonight.
Sheridan filed the $20-million wrongful termination lawsuit against Cherry last year; in it, she claims he'd struck her twice, in the face and the head. Their trial is slated to begin next month.
"There is a bit of like a law thing going on between Nicollette Sheridan and Marc Cherry who created Desperate Housewives," Lopez said. "How did you you get involved in that?"
"I know: How did I get involved?" Longoria said. “I was like, ‘Why did I get pulled into this?’ We all have to give a deposition because what they are fighting about. I just saw that her deposition came out that Marc had said these mean things.”

Lopez said, "And that's what it is?"
"Yeah!" Longoria replied.
Cherry and Sheridan’s trial begins June 8.
