Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi was paid $32,000 for an appearance at the Livingston Student Center at Rutgers University and has learned some students are furious over the price tag.

The pint-size Jersey Shore star booked two Q&A sessions with the New Jersey school, which reportedly paid her $2,000 more than when they had Toni Morrison speak – a Nobel prize-winning author.

“My tuition dollars wasted on Snooki,” on student posted on their Twitter account.

“Rutgers probably could have paid her with a case of beer.”

University rep E.J. Miranda told Fox News that Snooki’s appearance was paid for through student fees.

“My alma mater. You have brought SHAME to my family,” one alumni tweeted.

“As an RU student, I’m really ashamed,” another wrote.

However, the MTV star had plenty of fans at the University and sold out both of her sessions.

So what do you get for $32,000?
