NFL superstar quarterback Peyton Manning and his wife Ashley Manning are the proud new parents of twins, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The 35-year-old Indianapolis Colts signal-caller and his wife welcomed their son Marshall Williams Manning and daughter Mosley Thompson Manning on March 31, 2011 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The couple had kept the pregnancy under wraps, as Ashley is regarded as being extremely private.
A family source told RadarOnline.com: “It is true, it is happy news for them.”
These are the couple's first children.
His younger brother New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and his wife Abby welcomed a daughter, Ava Frances Manning, 10 days earlier on March 21, 2011.
Manning, a surefire Hall-of-Famer, has dominated the NFL gridiron for more than a decade: The first overall pick of the 1998 NFL draft, the field general is a record four-time NFL MVP, and Super bowl winner in 2007.
His remarkable success, scandal-free slate and good-natured personality have lead to crossover appeal, as he's hosted Saturday Night Live, lent his voice to The Simpsons and starred in a number of nationally-aired commercials.
By the way, for all you sports fans out there, we project little Marshall's first NFL start around September of 2034!
