Now, Lohan vows to press charges against his ex, Kate Major, who was the victim of his alleged assault.
“I asked to press charges on her-- Look, I’m the one who got cut, I’m the one that was bleeding!" Michael told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

“I’m going to press charges against Kate and I’m going to try to have her arrested before she leaves California.”
Lohan revealed that he has an appointment tomorrow with the police and wants Kate charged with robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic assault and trespassing.
“I have to see what's missing and have her charged with robbery," he said.
“I want to also have her charged with assault with a deadly weapon -- she cut me with something-- domestic assault and trespassing."
Michael was arrested by the Los Angeles county sheriff’s department Monday night after Kate filed a police report.
He was originally arrested for three felony charges of domestic violence: preventing the report of the victimization, false imprisonment and inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant.
After complaining of chest pains he was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center where he remained under arrest, closely guarded by police officers, until he was released early Tuesday evening.
“She Major was drunk again,” Lohan claimed. "Actually, Dr. Drew and the people at Celebrity Rehab did an intervention when she came on the set drunk one day and she was banned from the set after that.”
Sources close to Major deny she was drunk or using drugs during the argument.
Throughout Lohan’s 24 hour legal ordeal he said he received well wishes from his troubled daughter, Lindsay, who is facing her own legal woes as she battles a Felony charge relating to the alleged theft of a $2,500 necklace.
“I have not talked to her, but she sent me many messages expressing her concern and well wishes for me.
“I’ll be in touch with my daughter.”
But first he only had one thing on his mind: filing his police report.
“I am heading to the police station right now. As a matter of fact when I got into the station I called the station while Kate took off before me and I asked to press charges and that was kind of odd to me because I asked to press charges and they didn’t even listen to what I had to say they just filed against me.
“When my lawyer gets to court and proves that she lied then I’ll be vindicated and then she’ll be charged for false reports and I’ll sue her civilly.”
Lohan just finished filming Celebrity Rehab and credits the show with his success in overcoming co-dependency issues, but says he can’t say the same for his ex.
“Absolutely,” he said when asked if the reality show has helped him to recover. “My co-dependency…I mean I shouldn’t say that because I allowed her to walk into my life again and that’s one of the main reasons I went is to actually stay away from people like her-- but from here on in there’s no Kates in my life!
“She belongs in an asylum…she’s crazy…and I’m even crazier for falling for all her ploys and lies,” he said, adding that he feels set-up.
“Absolutely, she did every time. She can’t keep doing this.”
From now on he doesn’t want people to believe everything they read about the Lohan name.
“In the future everyone should take everything with a grain on salt because the Lohan name, once it’s involved in anything is going to be a negative connotation and it’s not fair that we get arrested and these kinds of things happen without an investigation and now that they’ve investigated thank God justice can prevail.”
When contacted by RadarOnline.com, Major responded to Lohan’s comments, saying: "I wish he'd shut up and go to jail. The heart issues get old and he's obviously strong enough to hit a woman but not a man.
"Everything he said is a lie or a vindictive threat. He lies to his family and myself."
When asked about accusations Lohan made against her of drug use, Major told RadarOnline.com: “No comment and that's personal. He's on meds too."
Lohan is scheduled to appear in court May 23.
