DA Will Not File Criminal Charges Against Lindsay Lohan For Betty Ford Incident
March 29 2011, Published 10:08 a.m. ET
Lindsay Lohan is having a string of good luck, as RadarOnline.com just confirmed that charges will not be filed against her stemming from the incident with a Betty Ford staffer.
The Riverside County District Attorney PIO told RadarOnline.com that they were not filing charges "due to insufficient evidence," meaning that they did not find credible evidence to prosecute Lindsay, 24, for the alleged altercation with Dawn Holland at her rehab center.
The PIO explained why the decision not to file charges against Lindsay took so many months.
"We treat it as any other case and had to speak with subsequent witnesses, transcribe data and came to the conclusion we did."

Holland had accused an "out of control" Lohan of throwing a phone at her after being caught allegedly drinking and violating curfew - which lead the Palm Desert Police Department to investigate the 24-year-old for breaching probation during the December 12 altercation.
