In the same week it became public that Bradley Cooper had ended his two-year romance with Renee Zellweger, the actor won a consolation prize of sorts. His new film Limitless was number one at the box office, RadarOnline.com can report.
The thriller that also stars Robert DeNiro pulled in a slightly better than predicted $19 million.
Matthew McConaughey's legal drama, The Lincoln Lawyer, came in second with an estimated $13.4 million in ticket sales.
