Justin Bieber appeared on Conan Monday, a day after he lost the best new artist Grammy in a shocker to little known jazz artist Esperanza Spalding, and admitted he was disheartened by the defeat.

"It was definitely disappointing," Bieber, 16, told host Conan O’Brien. "It's great to even be nominated and have that, it's amazing.

"We'll get ‘em next year."

Conan then pulled a good natured rib on the Baby singer, dropping a large bag of Bieber's favorite candy -- Marshmallow peeps -- on the heartthrob.
