He played the eternal child, Peter Pan, on stage, but Zac Efron has certainly grown-up from his days as a shy schoolboy, and RadarOnline.com has his childhood photos to prove it.
With his sexy six pack abs and A-lister good looks, it's hard to imagine him as anything but a Hollywood hunk, but before he was famous, the High School Musical star was just a regular, bashful teen.
Hiding behind his signature floppy hair, he is seen through the years in his high school yearbooks.
And when he wasn't in class, Efron participated in local theater and RadarOnline.com even has pictures of him posing with his fellow jazz ballet cast members when he was 12-years-old.
Just one year later he took flight as Peter Pan with the Pacific Conservatory Of The Performing Arts in Santa Maria.
In stark contrast to his childhood roles, Efron is now set to star in The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman which will be his darkest movie yet.
