Rihanna is battling a combination of laryngitis and bronchitis, which is threatening her performance with Eminem at the Grammy's on Sunday night, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

One day after pulling out of a benefit concert citing illness, she was spotted at rehearsals on Friday for the 53rd annual awards and is apparently still on for the big show.

"Rihanna will perform with Eminem, as scheduled,” a pal of the Umbrella singer told RadarOnline.com.

She Tweeted on Friday that she would be rehearsing, despite suffering from bronchitis.

“Rihanna is on steroids and antibiotics to get her as prime time ready as possible for Sunday night,” the source said.

“Rihanna doesn't want to let Eminem down, but he would totally understand if she couldn't perform. The duo are scheduled to rehearse again on Saturday at Staples, but she probably won't be using her voice a lot at that time, she is saving it for Sunday night."

The pop star pulled out of a Thursday night performance benefiting the Women's Cancer Research Fund, citing the flu.

Singer Cee Lo Green took her place.

There is speculation that Eminem and Rihanna will be the opening act for the award show, which is always a tightly kept secret that is kept under wraps.

“They will be performing very, very early on during the Grammy's on Sunday night,” the source said.

“However, this is contingent on Rihanna actually being able to perform."

It will be a bittersweet evening for Rihanana, who just two years ago was badly beaten by her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown at a pre-Grammy party.

Eminem is nominated for a staggering ten Grammy Awards for his critically acclaimed album, Recovery.

Eminem's rep, Dennis Dennehy, was unavailable for comment.
