As she starts a new year and a new chapter in her life, Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren is celebrating her 31st birthday on Saturday.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Nordegren spent the holidays in her native Sweden to visit her mother, politician Barbro Holmberg.

It was a tumultuous year for Nordegren, who divorced the golf icon in August, then gave a tell-all to People detailing where she was at mentally as her marriage swirled down the drain.
