Gloria Allred's New Target -- The 40-Year-Old Virgin

Famed attorney Gloria Allred is standing by a new woman in the spotlight -- the ex-girlfriend who was attacked by one of the stars of The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

Allred -- whose notable clients include Tiger Woods' alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel -- will hold a news conference with Kendra Beebe, who actor Shelley Malil stabbed 23 times with a kitchen knife in 2008, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Malil -- who played a co-worker of Steve Carell's character in The 40-Year-Old Virgin -- faces 16 years to life in prison when he is sentenced today for the premeditated murder of his ex-girlfriend.

Beebe will deliver an emotional victim impact statement at the hearing, we're told.

Malil, 45, picked up the kitchen knife after finding Beebe on her patio with another man.

The pair had a tumultuous relationship, however in court, he described Beebe as a violent drama queen who manipulated men and tried to make them jealous.

"I feel a sense of relief, but I have to be honest there is never a win in a situation like this," she said, when Malil was sentanced on September 17.
