VIDEO: Gwyneth Paltrow Pokes Fun At Lindsay Lohan On Glee

Gwyneth Paltrow made her long-awaited special appearance on Tuesday's edition of Fox's hit Glee, as the star played Holly Holiday, a cool substitute teacher filling in after regular teacher Will Schuester falls ill. 

Besides her stellar singing, among the cool moments from Paltrow's Glee debut was when her character, in an attempt to connect to the high school students, used pop culture queen Lindsay Lohan as a common bond, teaching the kids the Spanish translations for how many times LiLo's been in rehab, how totally crazy she is and more.

Musical numbers The Royal Tenenbaums star participated in included a mash-up of Singing in the Rain and Umbrella, Cee-Lo Green’s Forget You and Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag from the musical Chicago.

"She loved it, actually," Glee creator Ryan Murphy told People of the guest star. "She's just the best ... she was so prepared, she worked so hard."

The 38-year-old plays a singer in her next film, Country Strong, which hits theaters January 7.

Glee airs at 8/7c Tuesdays on Fox.  Next week, look for comedy icon Carol Burnett to guest star as Sue Sylvester's mother in a special surprise wedding episode.
