Former Survivor producer Bruce Beresford Redman — accused of killing his wife in Mexico — has been arrested, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Beresford-Redman had been fighting to block extradition after his legal team claimed Mexican police did not thoroughly investigate other people who could have carried out the murder.

He reported her missing two days before her body was found.

In a statement released to RadarOnline.com, the television producer's lawyer, Richard G. Hirsch said: "We are disappointed by the United States Government's decision to arrest Bruce Beresford-Redman.  Based upon our investigation he is an innocent man being wrongfully accused by a foreign government. We hope that after full consideration of both sides, a federal court will decide not to extradite him."
