May 28 2018, Updated 10:17 a.m. ET
Bruce Beresford-Redman - accused of killing his wife in Mexico - will remain behind bars until a November 29 hearing, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
US Marshals took the former television producer into custody at his home in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, on Tuesday.
The U.S. Attorney told a judge in the United States District Court it wanted Bruce locked up until he is extradited back to Mexico.
He has been charged there with the murder of his wife Monica Beresford-Redman.
In court on Wednesday, Bruce, wearing a white t-shirt, watched on silently as Judge Susan Segal asked the U.S. Attorney if it had filed formal extradition paperwork yet.
The court was told it has not, as the office has 60 days to do so after someone is arrested.

Monica was found on April 8, 2010 in a sewer at a luxurious Cancun resort where the couple was staying.
