Former 'Bachelorette' Ali Fedotowsky may be in love with hunky Roberto Martinez, but she apparently has a soft spot for Jonathan Novack, fondly known as "The Weatherman", and in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Jonathan dishes on Ali and the controversial choice for the next 'Bachelor'.
Ali told UsMagazine.com Thursday that she and Roberto were rooting for Jonathan to be picked as the next 'Bachelor', but that honor went to Brad Wolmack, the Texas-bred hunk who famously ticked off fans when he shockingly dumped not one - but two women (DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft) during the season 11 finale of The Bachelor back in 2007.
Ali told US, "I would've really liked to see Jonathan," she said, laughing. "Just because it would've been so entertaining! I feel like people would pick on him, and I don't want him to have to deal with that."
So, on Friday, we asked 'The Weatherman' what he thought of Ali's comments.
Radar: What do you think of Ali hoping you would be next Bachelor?
Jonathan: I always knew she was a smart girl.
Radar: Would you have liked to be the next Bachelor?
Jonathan: I think so, yea. It is an intense process and you face a lot of scrutiny, but I believe the show works.
Radar: Did you ever have any conversations with ABC about being the next Bachelor?

Jonathan: Yes..but they weren't present at the time. Seriously, they never asked me. Maybe they ran out of speedos for me to wear.

Radar: What do you think of ABC's choice to give Brad Wolmack a second shot at being The Bachelor?
Jonathan: I think he's a genuine guy. He didn't choose someone on his season...but if you don't feel it, then you don't feel it. I think he's sincerely interested in finding someone and wants to be sure she's the one.
Radar: What projects are you working on?
Jonathan: I'm performing stand-up in L.A. I'm at the Comedy Store a lot. I'm writing, auditioning...looking to continue what I've been doing the last 10 years...TV and entertainment. Anyone need a host?
