Greg Norman is wasting no time in making girlfriend Kristen Kutner wife # 3. RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that the famed golfer proposed on the one year anniversary of his split from wife # 2, Chris Evert!
Calling her "the big love of my life," Norman also revealed that he'd taken Kutner on a recent trip to China where they visited the Great Wall.
The Shark, as Norman is known, has been friends with the interior designer for several years. They've been living together since the spring.
"One minute we were having a day-to-day conversation and the next moment, all of a sudden, everything changed -- our lives changed," he told Australia's New Idea about presenting Kutner with a spectacular six-carat diamond engagement ring.
What he didn't reveal to the magazine was that the proposal came the same week-to-the-year that he and tennis star Evert separated.
In 2006, Norman and Everett broke up with respective spouses (she from Olympic skier Andy Mill) and went into a whirlwind romance that culminated with a lavish wedding on June, 28, 2008. Fifteen months later, it was over. Their divorce was finalized in December.
The rapid rebound isn't bothering bride-to-be Kutner. "I am definitely the luckiest woman on earth," she told New Idea.
Chris Evert probably thinks otherwise.
