Katy Perry's Fiancé Russell Brand Arrested After Photographer Brawl

Russell Brand has been arrested for battery at LAX airport, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

The fiancé of singer Katy Perry got into a scuffle with a photographer.

A spokesperson for the LAPD LAX station confirmed the arrest to RadarOnline.com.

The British actor was arrested after allegedly attacking the photographer.

Perry was with him at the time of the arrest. The pair had arrived for a departing flight out of the airport.

A statement from Los Angeles Airport Police said: “About 1:50 pm today, Los Angeles Airport Police responded to Terminal 5 to a report of a battery involving a celebrity and a commercial photographer (paparazzi).  The victim involved placed the suspect (Russell Brand) under private person's arrest.  Airport Police took the suspect into custody for Penal Code Section 242 - battery. He will be booked at the LAPD Pacific Division station. “
