Before he was all about 'GTL,' Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was focused on FSK: family, school, and karate.

RadarOnline.com has obtained childhood photos of the reality TV star long before his days at the gym and tanning salon.

The first photo is of Mike in kindergarten in West Brighten, Staten Island. According to a family friend, Mike always had style.

"Their mom Linda always liked to dress the boys impeccably," the family friend told RadarOnline.com. "Mike always dressed for the ladies even at a young age."

The second photo is Mike at his 8th grade graduation from MEMS (Manalapan-Englishtown-Middle School). The lovely lady on his arm? His sister Melissa who is five years his junior.

The third image is Mike with his brother Marc at a karate competition.

"They both loved martial arts and they both won first place trophies in their karate tournaments," the childhood pal added. "Both boys got their black belts in Karate. They played to win. They both took it very seriously."

At the time the photo was taken Marc was 11 and Mike was 10 during a competition in Pennsylvania. Each boy won a first-place trophy, one for the sparring division (fighting) and the other for the Kata Division (which is a set routine showing movements, stances, and strikes).
