Harry Brown (R)
Harry Brown is an elderly man who’s alone in the world, living out his later years in the shadow of rampant violence in a London project and playing chess with his best friend Leonard. Danger has crept into daily life, with wild, gun-toting teens ruling the streets and ineffectual detective work from the local cops. But when lawless locals murder Leonard, Harry has had enough. With nothing left to lose, he sets out to find Leonard’s killer and restore some order -- but not before waging a veritable war on his home turf. (Michael Caine Harry Brown, Emily Mortimer D.I. Alice Frampton)
Marmaduke (PG)
Owen Wilson, Fergie and Kiefer Sutherland are among the star-studded voices in this adaptation of the classic comic about a gigantic dog. In this family flick, Marmaduke’s owners move from Kanas to California, where the massive canine must adjust to a new kind of life -- and wreaks non-stop havoc along the way. The good news? Everyone has a sense of humor as the pony-sized, surf-loving dog finds his place and learns to live it up, SoCal-style. (Owen Wilson voice of Marmaduke, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson voice of Jezebel, George Lopez voice of Carlos)

When the vacation is over and each pair returns to their daily lives, they’re faced with questions of love, infidelity and the life-long challenges after saying “I do.” (Tyler Perry Terry), Janet Jackson Patricia, Jill Scott Sheila)
