Comedian Greg Giraldo Dies Following Overdose

Comedian Greg Giraldo has passed away at the age of 44, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The Last Comic Standing judge had been hospitalized in critical condition following an accidental prescription drug overdose over the weekend.
Giraldo had been discovered unconscious in a New Jersey hotel room on Saturday and taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
The comedian was perhaps best known for being the top roaster on the Comedy Central roasts. He had roasted such celebrities as Larry The Cable Guy, Bob Saget, William Shatner, Flavor Flav and Pamela Anderson.
A rep for the comedian has not yet issued a statement on his passing.
A spokesperson for NBC released the following statement to RadarOnline.com: "Greg was one of the most talented comedians of our time. He was truly brilliant. His work will surely continue to influence and inspire us. We will miss our friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family."
