It was a battle between glamorous actresses and geeky guys at the Scott Pilgrim VS. The World premiere in London on Thursday, and RadarOnline.com has photos from the red carpet.

While the female leads took the event extremely seriously in designer dresses and immaculately styled hair and make-up, the male stars saw it was a challenge to show off their whacky comedy skills.

Michael Cera hit the red carpet with his initials ‘MC’ written on his nose in black pen, in between his geeky plastic glasses. The bizarre look was not helped by his tightly-buttoned bright red blazer, checkered shirt, red tie and brown velvet pants. Will someone please tell him that looking like a fool for your own movie premiere is sad, not funny!

MOVIE REVIEW: Scott Pilgram Vs. The World

Not to be left out of the silliness, co-star Jason Schwarzman joked around in comedy poses with floppy hair, a long moustache and wire-rimmed glasses.

Luckily the ladies added a dash of much-needed glamour. Anna Kendrick looked chic in an Elise Overland Off-the-Shoulder dress and S&M-inspired Jimmy Choo caged sandals, while Mary Elizabeth Winstead stole the show in a Christian Cota Charmeuse Ruched pencil skirt and long sleeved blouse with Brian Atwood Kendall pumps.
