EXCLUSIVE: Martin Short's Wife Dead

Martin Short’s wife Nancy has died, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

The actor’s wife passed away on Saturday at the couple’s Pacific Palisades home. The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a medical emergency call at Short’s  address at 8:30 am Saturday.

They were on scene for approximately 30 minutes but did not transport anyone to a hospital. It is believed Nancy died at the house.

A representative for Short confirmed Nancy’s death to RadarOnline.com.

The cause of death is not yet known.

Short, best known for his role on Saturday Night Live and the Father of the Bride franchise married Nancy Dolman in 1980.

The tragedy strikes as Short, who starred in Damages, has been nominated for an Emmy in the Best Supporting Actor For A Drama category.

She is survived by the couple’s three children, Katherine, 27, Oliver, 24 and Henry, 20

Nancy was diagnosed with cancer in 2007, when doctors discovered a growth in her left groin area. She underwent surgery.

Short and Nancy met in 1972 while acting in a Canadian production of the musical Godspell.

Short achieved stardom on Saturday Night Live.
