The first instance was when contestant Melinda Sullivan tripped, almost flipping over, when her heel was intertwined with her skirt ruffles.
Then, dancer Lauren Froderman had an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when the bubbly blonde's dress strap snapped during a Broadway number. The pretty 18-year-old Arizona native, however, had a resilient attitude in the wake of the exposure, soldiering on and finishing up the number.

She told Fox News that spontaneity and support from her dance partner Neil Haskell helped buoy her through the potentially catastrophic series.
“The dance was about Neil having a fantasy about me," Froderman said. "I think he took it a little too far with ah wanting my wardrobe to malfunction! I’m just kidding -- You know you just go along with it.
“I tried to play it off, and things happen and it makes it exciting, and that’s why I love that it’s live,” she said. “Because it’s crazy!”
The next episode of So You Think You Can Dance airs Thursday at 10/9c on Fox.
