After the controversial ousting of Justin “Rated R” Rego for having two girlfriends at home last week on ABC's The Bachelorette, Ali had the field of guys narrowed down to four and went on the hometown visits to meet their families, and RadarOnline.com has the highlights of their visits.

In watching commercials teasing this week's episode, we saw Frank telling Ali somewhat so horrific that she ends up in tears, but on this episode, he  actually seemed to be the favorite one of the guys.

When she visits him in Chicago, she tells his mom , “I would do anything to be with the right person”.  Frank then tells her that he is the right person, and she “really likes him a lot.”  His visit starts out with the two on a boat touring the town, and Frank is acting incredibly distant as Ali seems the most nervous and excited to be with him.  “I could be meeting my potential in-laws today,” she flirts as Frank uncomfortably says,  “ That’s true.”  They end their time together kissing and telling each other “I’ll miss you,” even though they’ll see each other in Los Angeles in just a few days.

The other three hometown visits all go well for Ali.  She plays baseball with Roberto in Tampa and his parents give him their blessings to go forward with Ali.  “I’m potentially weeks away from proposing to Ali and spending the rest of my life with her,” Roberto says.  The two are very affectionate and the whole family ends up dancing together.

Chris L.’s visit on Cape Cod was a tear jerker, as his whole family talks fondly of his mother who recently passed away.  “Love is the only reality,” was his mother’s motto, and Chris’ dad tells Ali that was they welcome her into the family.  Chris and his Dad spoke about Ali and Chris tells him “Mom would say nice job Chris.”  He is very emotional when he says that he is sad that his mom didn’t get to meet Ali.  “I had such a good day, I really love Chris’ family,” Ali said of her visit to the charming beach town.  The outtakes as the credits roll showing Chris’ dog not performing a single trick have Ali and Chris laughing hysterically.

Kirk’s parents are divorced, and even his Dad’s taxidermy displays in the basement don’t creep Ali out and she says,  “Kirk’s dad is great.”   Ali  bonds with his mother, and tells his cute granny that Kirk making the scrapbook on the first day really stood out for her.

However, it wasn’t enough and back in Los Angeles at the Rose ceremony Ali sobs as she lets  Kirk go.  “I think the world of you,” Ali tells him.  Kirk seemed shocked and genuinely sad.  “I really, really did not see this coming, I've never had my heart broken before.”
