Marion Cotillard's Style Siren Evolution
July 18 2010, Published 12:23 p.m. ET
Though Marion Cotillard has been acting since the mid 1990's it was her Academy Award-winning La Vie en Rose role which launched the Inception star into international fame. The Parisian-born beauty, who has a covetable Christian Dior contract to her name, is also regarded as a fierce fashionista, hitting red carpets in couture haute off the runway. What makes her style so amazing? Read on to find out.
Before her big break in La Vie en Rose, Marion hadn't yet found her inner style siren, stepping out in a variety of contrasting looks. She even experienced a total fashion flop in 2007, hitting the European Film Awards in a way too sheer black gown, which fully exposed her nude bra and panty set!
We first began to associate the fab French star with Chanel, as she seemed to favor the iconic design house, wearing their timelessly sophisticated designs on the red carpet. When Marion scooped up the Best Actress Academy Award in 2008, she dropped jaws in an unforgettable fish-scaled Jean Paul Gaultier gown and she became in instant style icon.

Signed in 2009 as the face of Lady Dior, the bombshell brunette began to wear their stunning designs on almost every carpet she walked. Every now and then, you will catch her in a figure-flattering L'Wren Scott, or a flirty Elie Saab, but whatever designer dress she may visit is usually paired with Dior heels or a clutch.
We love Marion, because she epitomizes classic French glamour with a modern twist. Always tasteful, never controversial, we look forward to seeing her
on the red carpet modeling fashions from the current couture collections in the most effortless way possible.
