The name of Lindsay Lohan's new attorney will be announced Friday, one day after her previous lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, quit as LiLo's legal counsel, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

And despite some reports that the Mean Girls star, 24, has hired Tiffany Feder-Cohen to represent her, Lohan's camp says that's not true.

In an exclusive statement to RadarOnline.com, Stephanie Ovadia, the attorney for Lindsay's mom Dina, tells us, "Tiffany Feder-Cohen is not Lindsay's attorney and never was. She is just a good friend who is helping out. Lindsay's new attorney will be announced today."

As RadarOnline.com reported exclusively, Holley quit on Thursday after discovering that Lindsay's team was shopping around for new representation after she was sentenced on Tuesday to 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in rehab for violating conditions of her probation related to her 2007 DUI conviction.
