VIDEO: Soccer's Landon Donovan: Wife & I "Will Always Be Best Of Friends"

Landon Donovan, the 28-year-old soccer hunk who reportedly got an unnamed British woman pregnant according to an upcoming UK tabloid story, had sweet words for his actress wife Bianca Kajlich on The Early Show Wednesday.

"I've known Bianca for eight years. We have been and will always be best of friends," he said of Kajlich, 33, who he is separated with. "And my personal life, people who know me close know how much she's meant to this whole process.”
He commented on a Hallmark moment in which he blew a kiss at Kajlich after his game-winner in the June 23 World Cup match against Algeria.
"I wouldn't be where I was on that day without her, and I wanted to share that moment with her, which was really special," he said.
Donovan told Sports Illustrated earlier this week that he "was informed of the possibility during the World Cup, and if I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support. This is a private matter, and I will refrain from further comment at this time."
