With just days to go until the first anniversary of Michael Jackson's death, the singer's father is making a stunning claim, blaming his wife Katherine for their son's death, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Joe isn't specific in what he thinks Katherine did that resulted in Michael's passing but insists he told Katherine. "if you had listened to me Michael would be living now."

Joe spoke to the UK's News of the World, and said he often told Katherine something was wrong with Michael. "If she had done what I asked," Joe said, "Michael would be here today.  She could have made a difference."

Joe also revealed that Michael's children Paris and Prince met their mother Debbie Rowe a few months ago, for the first time since their father's death.

"Debbie came over with presents and talked with the kids," Joe said. "They know that she was their mother, but didn't make a big fuss. It was all done in about 10 minutes, but it was a good meeting."
