Play Ball! Jerry Seinfeld Salutes Lady Gaga's One-Finger Salute

When Jerry Seinfeld learned that the NY Mets organization had seated Lady Gaga, dressed in a studded bra and panties in his prized luxury box, and that she’d even given booing fans a one-finger salute, the funnyman took the high road about the incident.

“The Seinfelds take an optimistic view of Lady Gaga’s gesture as a sign that she wants the Mets to be in first place as badly as they do,” a spokesman for the comic actor tells

Jerry wasn’t in attendance at the Mets game against San Diego when the fracus occurred.  Lady Gaga had been given seats right behind the Citi Field home plate, but wasn’t happy with them.

That’s when the Mets PR team realized Seinfeld wasn’t using his luxury box that day, and decided to seat Lady Gaga there.

The Mets Goofed In Giving Jerry Seinfeld’s Seats To Lady Gaga

The Mets organization has since apologized to Seinfeld.
