American Pie star Chris Klein's blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit when he was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Sherman Oaks, California early Wednesday, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Klein, 31, was taken into custody at about 3:15 am PT Wednesday after he was seen drifting in between lanes on the 101 Freeway heading west near Woodman Avenue, police said.
Klein was booked at the Los Angeles Police Department's Van Nuys Station, CHP Officer Patrick Kimball said, and subsequently released on his own recognizance.
According to the police report, Klein did not resist officers and they did not have to pull a weapon on him.
The legal limit in California is .08.
