To commemorate the life and work of Michael Jackson on the first anniversary of his death, RadarOnline.com has obtained never-before-seen photos of the King Of Pop performing in the early 1980s.
The stunning shots show Jackson touring with his talented family a short time before he parted ways with them professionally and cemented his name in music history.
In these early days, Jackson had already created his own signature style - wearing bedazzled pants and a patterned shirt that were the height of fashion at that time.
A number of the photos show him donning protective knee pads to avoid injury while sliding across the stage. This was before his hair was set on fire in a much more elaborate pyrotechnic stunt while shooting a Pepsi commercial in 1984!
The final photograph of the collection portrays the Jackson brothers as they bow humbly together to the crowd at the end of another mind-blowing and memorable show.
And RadarOnline.com has learned the photos are a precursor to something even bigger - the existence of previously un-seen video of the Jackson Five rehearsing for the 1981 Triumph Tour, one of the group’s most successful tours ever. In the footage, Jackson showed foul-mouth by swearing, as he sang: “Bitch, close your eyes, let the rhythm get into you. I wanna rock with you.”
