EXCLUSIVE: Heidi Montag Pratt Has Filed For Legal Separation, Is Worried About Her Money

The much publicized break-up between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt has reached a new level of insanity.

COURT DOCUMENTS: Read Heidi's Petition For Separation

RadarOnline.com has learned that Heidi filed for legal separation Tuesday morning.

But in classic Heidi fashion—she showed up at the wrong court. She first went to the county courthouse in Malibu when she needed to be in the one in Santa Monica. Heidi filed without the help of an attorney, which is highly unusual.

“As far as she’s concerned the marriage is over.” a source tells RadarOnline.com.

Heidi cited “irreconcilable differences” in her petition.

She also said there are “no such assets or debts subject to disposition by the court,” which could imply that the couple has a prenuptial agreement.

And then at the end add this to very end of story.

Other sources, however, remain skeptical about if this is real.

The Hills stars are a walking controversy--Heidi for her 10 surgeries in one day, Spencer for his tirades and his bizarre addictions to crystals.

Heidi, who is arguably the more interesting of the duo, took to Twitter to audition for Michael Bay’s Transformers 3 and is starring in a new reality show with her friend Jennifer Bunny.

Our source says “this is the real thing. Heidi would never take legal action unless it was legitimate. This was not a stunt.”
