Twilight’s Robert Pattinson playfully teases his rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart on the Oprah Winfrey Show Thursday and talks about how he got rid of his accent for the film.
And RadarOnline.com has a preview clip for you.
Twilight Saga: Eclipse doesn’t come out until the end of June, but the fever is at an all-time high. Robert, Kristen and their co-star Taylor Lautner appear on the show Thursday.
Oprah asks how Pattinson gets rid of his English accent to play the American Edward Cullen:
“Oprah: How do they teach you to speak American? What is that? Do you have to flatten out your tongue or something? I don’t know.
Robert: I don’t know, Kristen thinks I do the most terrible American accent.
Kristen: No, no I don’t. Occasionally some words will come out and I’ll say, ‘We don’t say that.’
Robert: I don’t know, I grew up watching American movies and stuff.”
And then Rob revealed a closely kept secret, “I used to want to be a rapper-- when I was like 14.”
The Oprah Winfrey Show appears in syndication on Thursday.
