Country star Mindy McCready is in good condition after she was rushed to a Florida hospital on Tuesday morning, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

EXCLUSIVE: Mindy McCready Hospitalized; Mom Denies Overdose

A spokesperson for Cape Coral Hospital in Ft. Myers, Florida told RadarOnline.com exclusively: “Ms. McCready is listed in good condition and has not been discharged.”

Mindy’s attorney confirmed reports that she had been hospitalized.

“Mindy was taken to the Cape Coral Hospital this morning,” her camp said in a statement.

“The diagnosis has not yet been confirmed. The family asks for your respect of their privacy and appreciates your thoughts and prayers at this time.”

While Mindy reportedly suffered a drug overdose, her mother, Gail McCready told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview, that her daughter took some pain medication for a broken toe and that she does not think it was an overdose.

“She just called us a few minutes ago and she wants to come home,” Gail told RadarOnline.com.

Mindy was initially found at her mother's house in North Fort Myers after emergency responders were called to the residence at 10:38 am.

Authorities say she was alert when she was taken to the hospital.
