The cast of MTV's breakout hit Jersey Shore surprised partygoers with an unplanned appearance at MTV's Gym Tan Laundry party at the Hotel Edison in Manhattan, New York Tuesday night, and RadarOnline.com has all the pictures for you.

Among the highlights of the bash: Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino taking his shirt off for the screeching girls in attendance, then throwing beach balls into the crowd; Snooki giving what she called a "Guido makeover;" and the cast showing off their inimitable fist-pumping dance moves.

From what we hear, the food was pretty good too, as MTV catered the bash with classic culinary creations identified with the Garden State, such as cheese steaks, spaghetti and meatballs, and shore favorites like hot dogs and curly fries.

Immediately after the bash, the cast returned to Miami, Florida to resume taping the second season of their hit show.

The new season of Jersey Shore, which is set to be filmed in both South Florida and New Jersey, premieres on MTV Thursday, July 29 at 10/9c.
