An on-edge Manhattan responded Sunday afternoon to another bomb scare and Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones and their children were in the midst of it, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The celebrity couple and their children Dylan and Carys were on their way home from a Mother's Day brunch on Manhattan's Upper West Side when police and the bomb squad converged on the area.
An SUV parked near the Museum of Natural History, had come under suspicion, and authorities were called.
An eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com that when the Douglas children became concerned about all the activity on their street, Michael reassured them that it was just "because it's Mother's Day."
It's been a tough few weeks for Douglas. His son Cameron was sentenced to five years in prison on drugs charges.
