Judge Turns Down Mindy McCready's Gag Order Request Against Mom

A judge turned down country star Mindy McCready’s request for a gag order against her mother Gayle McCready Inge, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Mindy’s attorney James Moon told RadarOnline.com that he filed an emergency gag order against Gayle on Wednesday. But the judge denied it—without prejudice—meaning he could re-hear the motion at a later date.
The mother and daughter have aired their dirty laundry in public for the past few weeks. And, Moon says he wanted to put a stop to it. The judge admitted that he had “concerns about extensive media coverage,” but it wasn’t enough to agree to a gag order.
Most recently the two women have been telling conflicting stories about what happened Tuesday when the 34-year-old was rushed to a Fort Myers hospital. Gayle previously told RadarOnline.com that Mindy suffered from an overdose and an attempted suicide. Mindy’s publicist says those claims have not been confirmed.

Another motion was filed Wednesday asking for the judge to take temporary custody of Mindy’s 4-year-old son Zander from Gayle and award it to Gayle’s ex-husband and Mindy’s father, Tim McCready. That motion was also denied.
