“She is just taking care of the kids and concerned about the case against Charlie in July," a source revealed to RadarOnline.com exclusively. "She doesn’t want the father of her kids going to jail.”
Sheen was formally charged with felony menacing and two misdemeanors - third degree assault and criminal mischief- in connection with his alleged Christmas Day assault on Mueller. Menacing, the most serious charge, carries a sentence of one to three years in prison if he is convicted.
For now, Brooke is focusing on building her new life separate from Sheen. She's currently decorating her new home which includes making way for a new development in her children's lives.
“She had the baby proofers come in because the boys are both walking,” the source said.
