Cameron Douglas has been transferred to a minimum security prison in central Pennsylvania, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Michael Douglas' 31-year-old son, serving a five-year sentence for selling drugs, is now a resident of what is described as a prison "camp" in Lewisburg, PA. He had been held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
At the Lewisburg location, prisoners live in barracks, and can learn trades like carpentry. There are no fences around the facility.
During a recent Today show appearance, Michael Douglas revealed that Cameron has been using drugs since he was 13. Prison has kept him sober for the first time in his adult life.
He will be eligible for drug-diversion counseling when he gets closer to his release.
