VIDEO: Courtney Love -- Mickey Mouse Club Hopeful?

Rocker Courtney Love said she auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club as a child on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday.
Love, who looked fresh and relaxed, told Kimmel that at the time she was 10-years-old, she thought her name was weird -- so she adopted the name, “Coco Rodriguez.”

She said that she traveled from Portland, Oregon to Seattle , Washington for the audition, and being ahead of her time, she read a poem by Sylvia Plath -- about incest -- to try and win a spot on the show. It didn't work.

Love also joked with Kimmel about how she was feeling no pain at the infamous Pamela Anderson roast a few years back, and said that the new incarnation of her band Hole features young, talented musicians in their early 20s.
