The new tell-all, unauthorized biography on Oprah Winfrey from celebrity author Kitty Kelley divulges many secrets about the media mogul, but the author says that the one she didn’t reveal is the true identity of Oprah’s father, and RadarOnline.com has the details.
On the Today Show Monday, Kelley was interviewed by Matt Lauer who didn’t delve into the salacious details about the book, but Kitty did talk about how she found out about the real identity of Oprah’s father.
“The hardest thing was getting drawn into the secrets myself,” Kelley told Lauer. She said that it was Oprah’s aunt in Mississippi who revealed the secret to her. “I spent three day with her and in that time she told me who Oprah’s real father was and swore me to secrecy.”
