Three Workers Injured Setting Up Elton John's Stage

Three workers setting up a stage for an weekend Elton John concert at Mexico's Chichen Itza were injured Wednesday night, when upper lighting rails of a metal structure collapsed during the construction process, RadarOnline.com has learned.
One of the workers suffered a broken leg while the other two were treated and released at the hospital, according to officials.

Chichen Itza is the site of 1,200-year-old Mayan ruins, and was not damaged in the incident; the venue was named one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World" in 2007.
Francisco de Anda, a spokesman for Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History, said there "has been no discussion of canceling the event," which is scheduled for Saturday.
