Bruce Beresford-Redman, the television producer being investigated for the murder of his wife Monica, was having an affair and it was no secret, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
According to a source who worked with Beresford-Redman on the series Crash Course, the producer’s affair with the show’s casting director Joy Pierce was common knowledge among co-workers.
“Are you kidding? Everyone knew about it,” the insider told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “It was going on all last summer and trust me it was no secret that he and Joy were having an affair.”
Monica’s friends and family have come forward publicly saying that the couple never exhibited any outward signs of marital strife. But the source tells RadarOnline.com a different story.
“It was very clear to everyone on set that Bruce and Monica were having problems last summer,” the insider said.
As RadarOnline.com first reported, Monica and Bruce started marriage counseling after Monica learned of her husband’s affair. The couple even booked their fateful trip to Cancun, Mexico, solely to reconcile their marriage because Bruce did not want a divorce.
Monica’s body was found April 8 in a sewer near the Moon Palace Hotel where she was staying with her husband. Bruce was arrested and later released, however he is currently the only suspect in the investigation. The state investigator’s office confirmed Bruce had scratches on his arms and body and the autopsy report said Monica died from asphyxiation and suffocation. Mexican officials say they are expecting DNA results on Monday at the earliest.

DOCUMENTS: Fight Over Custody Of The Children
The insider adds, “The saddest part is that there are two little kids here. Those kids are the sweetest kids on the earth and the best scenario for them right now is that their mom is dead. That’s the best... and that’s really sad.”
