Jenna Jameson's attorney, Ronald Richards, is hitting back at Tito Ortiz's claim that the former adult actress is addicted to Oxycontin, branding it "patently false and irrelevant".

Richards also told RadarOnline.com, "You can't hit your spouse even if they are under the influence of anything."

Tito had claimed during an impromptu press conference held outside an Italian restaurant in North Hollywood Monday night, that he never laid a hand on Jameson - insisting instead that she hurt herself when she fell.

Jameson took to her Twitter account early Tuesday morning to voice her dismay at Tito's allegations. "I am officially crushed.... I have so much I could say, but I refuse to ruin tito......I will never be the same, I lost the love of my life," she Tweeted. "Surprised so many of you believe titos allegations....im going to focus on happiness. Goodbye xxxxxx."
