Mexican officials have confirmed to RadarOnline.com that all DNA testing from the body of Monica Beresford-Redman has been performed and her remains will be turned over to her family.
The 41-year-old restaurant/nightclub owner was found dead in a sewer on April 8 in Cancun, Mexico. She and her husband Bruce were trying to rekindle their romance after having marital problems.
Emails obtained by RadarOnline.com reveal a sordid affair Bruce had with a co-worker.
Bruce, who was a producer of Survivor and Pimp My Ride, was arrested and later released on the condition that he remain in Mexico. Bruce is under the care of the U.S. Consulate.
And although Mexican officials first told RadarOnline.com that Bruce is their only suspect, they are now being cautious not to use his name or rule out the possibility that there could more than one suspect. However, they are clear that Monica's death was a homicide.
The attorney general's official says Monica's body will be turned over Monday at 11 a.m. to Monica's mother Ely, who has been in Mexico for four days with her other daughter, Jeane, demanding justice.
Mexican officials say most of their test results have come in, but they are still waiting for 20 percent of the results-- an important 20 percent. They revolve around forensic tests taken at the crime scene.
Meantime, friends and family of Monica are holding a rally Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles demanding justice and raising money for her funeral.
