What is not known is if Michael had drugs or alcohol in his system.
Results of toxicology tests will not be back for 4 to 5 weeks.
According to a source, members of the coroner’s office are now interviewing members of Michael’s family to find out why he committed suicide.
Blosil suffered from depression and had been in and out of rehab.
Blosil sent a text message to a female friend before taking his life and left a suicide note.
Blosil was one of Marie’s eight children, and one of five whom the star had adopted.
In a statement, Osmond said, "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time."
Blosil was a first-year student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, where he was majoring in apparel manufacturing.
