Jay McGraw and his wife model Erica Dahm welcomed a healthy baby girl on Thursday at 11:33 p.m., RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
Avery Elizabeth McGraw was born at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and weighed in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces and measures 21 inches in length.
On Wednesday, Jay, the executive producer and creator of The Doctors, tweeted "No baby yet, still waiting, I have a feeling I am going to get used to waiting for her!! ;)"
Jay’s dad, TV's Dr. Phil McGraw tweeted on Wednesday “Grandbaby due date today. Way excited!”
A few hours earlier, Dr. Phil’s wife, Robin tweeted “I cannot believe it is THE DUE DAY!!!! YEA!!! jay and erica could be parents anytime!!!"
Jay and Erica got married four years ago at Dr. Phil’s Beverly Hills Home.
Erica and her sisters Nicole and Jaclyn are identical triplets and they all got pregnant at the same time.
Twins and triplets are common in both families. Erica’s grandmother was a twin. And Jay’s mother, Robin, is a twin. But this time around Jay and Erica just had one beautiful baby and the couple couldn’t be happier.
Dr. Phil has been quoted as saying, with Robin “there’s a built in babysitter here.”
Congratulations to the McGraw family.
